'The .38 Chiefs Special', an American made small frame double action revolver chambered in .38 Special, manufactured between 1963-1969 in Springfield, MA. Revolver features a gloss blued finish, 3" pinned barrel, serrated ramped front sight, square notched frame rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted five-shot cylinder, smooth grip straps, color-case serrated curved trigger, firing pin on hammer nose, color-case service hammer, checkered hammer spur, three screw round butt 'J' frame, and black wood two-piece finger grooved combat grips. The original blued finish retained is approximately 98% with only superficial blemishes, and a light drag line on the cylinder. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers are excellent. Grips are excellent with some minor dings. Action is smooth and crisp with a tight lock-up.
